Bridget Swinney MS, RD, LD is an award-winning author and well-regarded nutrition expert in the field of family nutrition and healthy eating. She has honed her culinary skills while developing tasty and nutrient-rich recipes for her four books as well as the food industry. International travel as well as living on the border of Mexico has influenced her cooking style. A frequent speaker and media guest, she has more than 20 years experience as a registered dietitian. She works as a freelance writer, editor, speaker and nutrition consultant.
Bridget has worked as a clinical dietitian, diabetes educator, public health nutritionist, renal dietitian and weight loss group facilitator and currently consults with adults who have diabetes. She is the author of three books that are focused on family nutrition and she is the co-author of The Healthy Heart Formula.
